Navy Association raised $15,000 to but 55 portable DVD players to
distribute to recovering warriors at Bethesda National Naval Medical
Center. This was a small statement that said we recognized and
appreciated the service and sacrifice of our Marines and Sailors. This
year SNA is hoping to double our donation to purchase something bigger
and perhaps more important for those who will be using it. Please watch

crew of the USS NIMITZ filmed/ taped last year. It contains a bit more
about life onboard a carrier [yes I know, (aka CVN/CV, ship, boat,
postage stamp, ride, target, can opener, etc.)]
It is getting a bit of attention here at OPNAV b/c of the unprecedented
access on board and the emotional component (as well as the fact my boss
here at OPNAV N3, RDML Branch, at the time of filming, was the CO of the
NIMITZ. His boss, RADM Daly, was the CARRIER STRIKE GROUP CMDR.)

it a reality show about real life onboard a carrier (not a game show in
the guise of “reality.”

international issues, and military history preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
. Logistics Coordinator helps prepare items for shipment to and from
event sites, as well as setup at the site, which often necessitates
moving heavy boxes. Keeping tabs on speakers and panelists at events
involves much walking and time on one's feet.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
. The majority of the time is spent in a standard office environment;
however, the time before, during, and after an event can be quite
active, demanding and requires over-time to complete projects.

Communication Specialists who will support the USO World Headquarters
marketing and corporate communications programs. Duties will include

entertainment tour books, etc.); researching communication needs for
