My command does the research and development, engineering, test and evaluation for everything that flies in the Navy and Marine Corps.

If you’re not familiar with Pax River, it’s about 75-90 minutes away from Washington, D.C., the locality pay is the same as if you are working in the center of the District, housing prices are about two-thirds cheaper, and my commute went from three hours a day to 30 minutes.
