Description of Duties:
All of the following duties include but are not limited to the following tasks:
Analyze influx of customer service data collected from NGA customer service centers.
Collaborate with OGS and key stakeholders to manage the disposition of customer service inquiries and RFIs
Assist in the RFI management process including research and development
Assist with development and facilitation of an RFI working group
Perform validation and quality assurance reviews on customer service metrics
Lead Working Groups / Collaboration meetings to identify support website improvements and organizational business process improvements
Assist NGA customers with the online assistance capability.
Leverage existing assisted and full service support currently in place within NGA
Leverage and adhere to the OGS, Strategic Implementation Plan, CONOPS, and Communications Plan
Recommend courses of action to satisfy OA decisions or to achieve effective and efficient content management
Requirements for the Position:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field and/or 7+ years of experience.
Experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional analysis/assessment methodologies and associated tools.
Experience may be broad-based crossing multiple markets (i.e., government, industry) and may also include relevant/associated certifications
Ability to lead tasks or portions of tasks.
Ability to provide quantitative and qualitative outputs about the impacts of process changes.
Ability to create process maps and/or models in standard tools
Background in implementing process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted business systems teams.
Knowledgeable in Customer Service and skilled in data analysis and reporting.
Able to independently initiate, manage, execute and report tasks as identified by the government
Background in Customer Service processes with an understanding of technical problems and process improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to assist others in solving problems.
Experience with providing customer service support activities across organizational elements.
Good written and oral communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Be familiar with current NGA products, operations centers, service centers, and business processes.
Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications.

• Helps to identify authors to cover current issues for Proceedings and encourages same to write for publication.
• May attend Naval Institute seminars and conferences/conventions of other Sea Service organizations to represent the magazines, promote membership, and gather information. Keeps abreast of professional developments through ancillary publications routed to the staff and professional contacts.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar and style and be familiar with the basic structure of magazine articles.
• Familiar with the editorial process for magazines required.
• Proficiency in Word, Internet research, and e-mail required.
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter and must enjoy working as part of a small team.
