Description of Duties:
Assist the Office of Naval Research (ONR), identify and facilitate initiatives that integrate science and technology (S&T) developments and the industrial base to improve life cycle affordability for naval systems, accelerate transitions of S&T developments to acquisition programs and operating forces, and to support and enhance national and economic security. Assist ONR manage Technology Transition programs that accelerate the transition of critical technologies to the warfighter and Technology Transfer programs that accelerate the use of naval technologies by other organizations.
Support the Technology Transfer programs from the Systems Commands Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Program Executive Officers (PEOs), and others, as directed. Provide technical expert advice and assistance to support eh overall proposal evaluation and selection process. Support the development and implementation of management tools and processes needed to ensure proper program execution.
Provide technical, business and programmatic expertise to assist the Government in the assessment of technology transition proposals. Assist in conducting proposal reviews to ensure the technical quality, programmatic executability, and transition viability of the proposed efforts, and the candidate’s ability to meet program mission requirements. Assist in identifying and characterizing risks associated with the transition project and steps needed to mitigate the risks.
Requirements for the Position:
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university with three years experience with government technology programs or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
•6 years of experience in a combination of program support, Fleet or Force Operations, DoN S&T organizations, or technology transition. Demonstrated ability to deal with scientific, engineering, and program management personnel in person, on-line, and on the telephone.
•Proficiency with using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
•US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret). Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Description of Duties:
•Thorough knowledge of electronic publishing and structured authoring software (e.g., HTML and XML languages) to include desired familiarity with Framemaker, and SGML.
•Graphic design or multimedia production experience.

•Provides advice on strategies to maximize available content on distributed servers.
•Installs, configures, operates, and advises on the acquisition of multimedia equipment, and supporting media products.
•Provides technical support for meetings, conferences, teleconferences, video-teleconferences, and multimedia projects supporting public relations objectives and strategic objectives of the government office.
•Provides remote-access training via video teleconferencing, and video production.
•Plans, executes, directs, and edits multi-media project productions in support of government customer task requirements and strategic objectives.
