Description of Duties:

 

  • Provide technical direction for the Task Order, balancing contract hours with requirements
  • Facilitate all activities and determine the optimum arrangement for task execution across the Team when “new” opportunities are identified
  • Coordinate with COR to provide rapid resolution to all contract issues. Manage task resources, monitor technical progress, and resolve day-to-day issues, ensuring the Team’s performance exceeds customer expectations
  • Work closely with the COR to develop appropriate performance metrics
  • Coordinate and consolidate all reports and contract deliverables
  • Support day-to-day interface necessary to establish and maintain effective communication with the Apache PM customers and COR and within MCR
  • Ensure quick reaction to urgent needs, new assignments, customer requirements, and feedback, and identify effective/responsive resolution of problems/concerns
  • Authority to take on-the-spot corrective action
  • Prepare deliverables
  • Approve team overtime and travel spending
  • Submit data items through IAW the CDRLs

 

Requirements for the Position:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 15-20 years of relative experience required.
  • Previous experience managing task/delivery orders (TOs/DOs), including cost, schedule and performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior systems engineering or technical experience working with Apache Attack helicopter.
  • Prior experience managing personnel in technical competencies.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Additional Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
