DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

 

The selected candidate will provide Advisory and Assistance Support within Headquarters Air Force Space Command. Specifically, support will be provided within one or more of the areas listed below:

 

  • Operations to include Missile Warning/Missile Defense (MW/MD), MILSATCOM, Cyberspace, Situational Awareness/Command and Control (SA/C2), Training, Test, Exercises, Tactics Development, Precision Navigation and Timing (PNT), Launch/Range, Space Protection, Space Control, Space Planning and/or other space and cyber related operational missions.
  • Operations Support/Program Element Monitor (PEM) support including POM and PPBE experience
  • Logistics and Sustainment
  • Requirements Development including Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or JCIDS process Communications and Information
  • Strategy, Policy, Doctrine, Wargaming and/or Lessons Learned
  • Financial Management

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering
  • 10 year minimum experience in DoD systems engineering
  • Familiarity with TMT and NGes and/or other staffing tools
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare General/Flag officer quality staff products
  • Ability to multi-task and provide staff products rapidly in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS-Windows and MS-Office applications and software
  • US Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance to comply with US Government contracts
