Maritime Security 2015 West provides discussion and collaboration on strategies and technologies to counter maritime security threats encountered by governments, law enforcement, and port/terminal owners and operators. Interactive workshop sessions are designed to give all conference participants the actionable knowledge on how to better secure their maritime areas of responsibility, mainly by stressing the importance of collaboration, efficiency, and best practices. General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a leading provider of Support Services for US Military Communication and Intel systems, is seeking a Field Support Representative for the Army’s Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS). Working at GDMS is much more than a job. In this role you will:
- Provide TAIS system support/sustainment and TAIS system training for Army Service personnel
- Perform field activities associated with installing, maintaining, integrating, troubleshooting, testing and servicing of a large grouping of fielded systems/products at customer sites
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures and submit reports on system reliability metrics to technical/regional support centers
- Work closely with design engineering in evaluating product performance and conducting field trials
- Work with customer leadership on the planning and implementation of system customization to meeting specific mission requirements
- Conduct site and equipment inspections in order to perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Assist management with review of maintenance contracts and complex system configurations and proposals
- Conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, informal on the job training for other field service staff members and customers, and over-the shoulder refresher training to users in the field as required
- Document failures and corrective action in accordance with proper procedures, and make technical recommendations based on this collective data
Education and Experience
Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional two years of related experience is required.
OR,
Two years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional two years of related experience is required.
Industry certifications are highly preferred.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Administration and tracking of multiple program contracts, multiple seeding contracts, and multiple other government agency and FFRDC tasks including financial oversight, monitoring program milestones, and assisting with document preparation and coordination.
- Programmatic tracking, deliverable collection, analysis and logging, communications with performers and support personnel, and task scheduling.
- Preparation of briefings and reports, managing program documentation, archiving, and records management.
- Planning and execution of program meetings, workshops, teleconferences and conferences.
- Participate in the administration of source selection activities such as proposal intake and processing, quality assurance, logistics management, archiving, distribution of materials, coordination of meetings and data consolidation and reporting.
- Reporting and the analysis of the use of program funds, including tracking, metrics and data entry.
- Tracking and reporting milestones and goals of the program and performers.
- Document and track government property, equipment, deliverables and inventory.
- Coordination and review of pre-publication and program documentation.
- Support the PM for actions as appropriate in support of the program or seeding.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Part-time position
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business and/or Project Mgmt fields
- 5 Years of work experience
- Working knowledge and experience being in or around federal contracting
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong ability to work in a professional teaming environment
- Creative problem-solving skills
- US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (TS/SCI). Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience at IARPA, DARPA or other IC agencies
- Experience in program management
