*** MCR DC Metro Charity Golf Outing
The 3rd Annual MCR DC Metro Charity Golf Outing is planned for Friday, October 9, 2015 at the South Riding Golf Club, South Riding, Virginia. Like our sister MCR charity event in New England, all proceeds go to charities with local ties. This year, our employee committee has once again chosen to support the Wounded Warrior Project. Last year we were able to donate $9,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project. This year we want to exceed that amount and give more than $10,000! That is why everyone is welcome to play, donate cash or raffle items, sponsor a hole, or volunteer their time. Besides supporting a great cause, it is a wonderful networking event. This year we are proud to announce that the Golf Outing Committee has teamed with “Salute Military Golf Associates” or SMGA. SMGA, a non-profit charity, provides rehabilitative golf experiences for post 9/11 Wounded Warriors and their families. Your donation will give an eligible veteran the chance to play golf and enjoy the outing event with supporters and friends. Maritime Security 2015 Caribbean is different than any other event of its kind – designed to be an interactive learning and collaborative experience for all maritime security stakeholders, the program is a hybrid of conference and workshop. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Technical Writer to conduct reviews and assessments of programmatic documentation for technical and regulatory accuracy and compliance to support submissions/updates of milestone decision reviews and decisions for USMC PM TRASYS programs.
- Provide feedback to the Government on the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documentation, Acquisition strategies, and Program of record request packages
- Conduct project assessments to include the review, revision, and submittal of Pre-milestone decision reviews, Milestone decision reviews, and Probability of Program Success (PoPS) statuses
- Review program documentation and provide recommendations to the Government on program critical performance analysis in order to review Compliance with acquisition processes Documenting Program risks and mitigations, and Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and Key System Attributes (KSAs)
- Prepare milestone documentation and review assessments and provide recommendations on achieving program milestone objectives to the Government lead.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Experience: The candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience reviewing, assessing, editing and updating programmatic documentation and technical reviews
- Possesses outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Suite of MS Office products and sharepoint
- Current or ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with acquisition processes and documentation development for DoD, USMC and PM TRASYS training and simulation systems
- Briefing in IPTs and to high level officials
- Acquisition program office experience
- Desired Education/Certification/Training:
- DAWIA or PMP certification
