Maritime Security 2016 West provides discussion and collaboration on strategies and technologies to counter maritime security threats encountered by governments, law enforcement, and port/terminal owners and operators. Interactive workshop sessions are designed to give all conference participants the actionable knowledge on how to better secure their maritime areas of responsibility, mainly by stressing the importance of collaboration, efficiency, and best practices. Required skills and experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a graphics design specialist.
- Bachelor’s degree in a communications or visual arts discipline preferred.
- Experience developing graphics and digital marketing or outreach materials.
- Ability to develop creative presentation graphics and infographics that can be quickly grasped and readily understood.
- Experience with blogging and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube LinkedIn, Flickr, Instagram and SnapChat.
- Effective communications and customer service skills.
- Skilled in developing professional motion and animated graphics, including:
- o Acquiring and importing logo files
- o Understanding different file formats
