Seeking a qualified Sr. Strategic Communications Analyst with experience in media, video and photography in support of an Army client. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will support the Strategic Communications Group in a Public Affairs role in support of Command initiatives through media, communication, and other community outreach activities. This will include:
- Preparing formal, official program documents and correspondence based on USD (A&S) input and direction and maintaining accountability of associated program files and records.
- Actively participating in scheduled and unscheduled in-process review meetings and briefings, as required by the Government.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Clearance: Secret
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree w/ Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of related experience
- General knowledge in the area of specialization – internal and external communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with strong customer-service skills and solid work ethic
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active duty military experience or prior experience working with military/government customer
- Knowledge of government and/or Department of Defense contracting activities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
